EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 36

"Pursuant to the provisions of Act Numbered Six hundred and forty-eight, Philippine Commission, entitled, 'An Act authorizing the Governor-General to reserve for civil public purposes and from sale or settlement, any part of the public domain not appropriated by law for special public purposes, until otherwise directed by law, and extending the provisions of Act Numbered Six hundred and twenty-seven so that public lands desired to be reserved by the Insular Government for public uses, or private lands desired to be purchased by the Insular Government for such uses, may be brought under the operation of the Land Registration Act,' I hereby reserve for the establishment of a settlement of non-Christian inhabitants, and withdraw from sale or settlement the following-described parcel of public domain in the barrio of Sumlug, municipality of Davao, Province of Davao, Department of Mindanao and Sulu, to wit:

"Beginning at point marked 1 on plan Pn-11, thence N. 50 33' W. 182.0 m. to point 2; N. 42 23' W. 262.2 m. to point 3; N. 13 29' W. 207.2 m. to point 4; N. 43 46' W. 831.8 m. to point 5; N. 51 26' W. 294.8 m. to point 6; N. 65 20' W. 200.8 m. to point 7; N. 55 16' W. 530.0 m. to point 8; N. 60 12' W. 491.7 m. to point 9; N. 54 43' W. 284.1 m. to point 10; N. 43 58' W. 209.4 m. to point 11; N. 40 03' W. 530.1 m. to point 12; N. 41 56' W. 267.5 m. to point 13; N. 38 01' W. 300.2 m. to point 14; N. 32 39' W. 526.8 m. to point 15; N. 24 11' W. 310.1 m. to point 16; N. 45 00' E. 2,470.0 m. to point 17; S. 45 00' E. 3,800.0 m. to point 18; S. 4 00' E. 2,140.0 m. to point 19; S. 50 00' W. 1,140.0 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

"Containing 12,893,885 square meters.

"Points 16, 17, and 18, concrete monuments; points 1 to 16, inclusive, on shore of Gulf of Davao.

"Bounded on northeast and northwest by public land; on southeast, by public land and Sumlug River; on southwest, by Gulf of Davao.

"Bearings true. Declination 2 0' E. cd asia

"Points referred to marked on plan Pn-11.

"Surveyed November 14 and 25, 1908. Approved March 20, 1909.

"A true copy, approved December 23, 1914."
