REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10087

AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3873, ENTITLED AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC LIBRARIES TO THE NATIONAL LIBRARY

SECTION 1. The title of CcAITa

"An Act Changing the Name of the Bureau of Public Libraries to the National Library of the Philippines".

SECTION 2. Section 1 of

"SEC. 1. The name of the Bureau of Public Libraries is hereby changed to that of The National Library of the Philippines."

SECTION 3. Section 2 of

"SEC. 2. All references to the Bureau of Public Libraries in laws, executive orders, rules and regulations shall henceforth be understood to refer to The National Library of the Philippines."

SECTION 4. Any law, presidential decree, issuance, executive order, letter of instruction, administrative order, rule and regulation contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act is hereby repealed, modified or amended accordingly.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect ten (10) days following its complete publication in any newspaper of general circulation.
