MARINA ADVISORY NO. 16-09

This notice to the public is hereby issued, in conjunction with to act as the agency to oversee and coordinate the various activities/programs of the government offices hereunder specified, relative to the establishment in the Philippines of lay-up centers, in such areas as may be suitable for the purpose and in such number as may be deemed necessary. . . ." Following evaluation and assessment conducted by this Authority on application-requests filed, and with due consideration to the continued demand for lay-up sites as well as the current and projected number of ships laid/to be laid up at Malalag Bay, the following areas are hereby declared as additional vessel lay-up sites:

1. Harbor of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental along Ta on Strait; and

2. Anchorage area of Tsuneishi Heavy Industries, Phil., Inc. in Balambam, Cebu. SIEHcA

Attendant to the herein declaration of the above lay-up sites, the entity who shall be able to submit to this Authority a survey map indicating the longitudinal and latitudinal positions where ships are to be laid up in the foregoing declared areas, and subject to compliance with the requirements provided in
