NOTICE

Sirs/Mesdames :

Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated January 17, 2012,which reads as follows: CITaSA

"A.M. No. 11-11-4-SC (In Re: Adoption of the National Payroll System). Acting on the Memorandum dated 03 November 2011 submitted by the Fiscal Management and Budget Office, through the Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief of Office Corazon G. Ferrer-Flores, the Court APPROVES and ADOPTS the recommendations contained therein with respect to the Letter Request dated 13 September 2011 sent by the Bureau of the Treasury.

Although the intentions and goals of the proposed National Payroll System of the Bureau of Treasury are laudable, there are serious concerns regarding the consequences of its introduction to the judiciary, especially considering the constitutional mandate of fiscal autonomy. (

Thus, the request of the Bureau of the Treasury for pertinent information on the details of court personnel for the establishment and adoption of a National Payroll System is DENIED." Brion, J.,on official leave. (adv103)
